"Rabbit" Jobe died Friday, April 15, 2005, at his home in Tallulah. He was 60. Mr. Jobe was a native and lifelong resident of Madison Parish and was an automobile mechanic. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended Parkview Baptist Church. Mr. Jobe was preceded in death by his brother, James "Sonny" Jobe, and his sister, Erma Lee Carrender. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Warner of Tallulah; two sons, Robert S. Jobe and Mark Jobe, both of Tallulah; four grandchildren; two brothers, Tommy L. Jobe and Ray Jobe, both of Tallulah; and five sisters, Kathleen Marshall, Jennie Wilhite and Nellie Simmons, all of Tallulah, and Marie Castle and Linda Vines, both of Vicksburg. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. Cletus Moak officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today
