"Sonny" Jobe - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 21, 1972 J. E. Jobe rites held Funeral services for James E. "Sonny" Jobe, 45, of Tallulah, were held Saturday at 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial followed in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home here. Mr. Jobe died Friday of an apparent heart attack while driving on Johnson Street in Tallulah. He was a mechanic at Tallulah Motor Company and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Pansy Jobe of Tallulah; two sons, James E. Jobe Jr., and Keith D. Jobe, both of Tallulah; two daughters, Miss Janet L. Jobe of Tallulah and Mrs. Elizabeth Diane Gilbreath of Monroe; three brothers, Ray Jobe, Tommy Jobe and Robert Jobe, all of Tallulah; six sisters, Mrs. Irma Garner of Bossier City, Mrs. Jenny Stanfield, Mrs. Nellie Simmons, Mrs. Kathleen Marshall, all of Tallulah, Mrs. Marie Willis Muirhead of Lake Providence; and his father, J. B. Jobe of Tallulah. Pallbearers were Ilar Osborne Sr., Ilar Osborne Jr., Jeff Thomas, Clayton Cox, Ralph Williams and Albert Fondren.
