All rights reserved. ************************************************ Robert Frank “Shorty” Jackson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, August 10, 2012 TALLULAH — Robert Frank “Shorty” Jackson died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at his home. He was 75. Mr. Jackson was born in Tallulah and was a resident all his life. He was a retired farmer and aerial applicator. Survivors include his wife, Joy Stewart Jackson of Tallulah; two stepsons, Stewart Sasser of Vicksburg and Scott Sasser of Easton, Pa.; a sister, Ella Faye Gibbs of Bossier City, La.; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the service. Pallbearers will be Bill Yerger, Tommy Wixson, Johnny Goss, John Earl Martin, Mitch Hopkins and William Scott.
