All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Glenn William Jackson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 14, 1945 Jackson Rites Held At Funeral Parlor Funeral services for Glenn William Jackson, 38-year old gin mechanic, who was killed in an accident at the Ashley Plantation gin where he was employed Saturday afternoon, were held at Crothers funeral home here Sunday. The Rev. John F. Kilpatrick, pastor of the Methodist church, conducted the rites and burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery here. Mr. Jackson, formerly of Shreveport, had resided in Madison parish for several months. Witnesses said when he attempted to make an adjustment in the machinery his body was drawn into the moving parts. Surviving are his wife, who lives here; mother Mrs. W. M. Jackson, brother W. W. Jackson, and sister Mrs. C. C. Rutledge, all of Shreveport
