He was 77. Mr. Hyde was born in Bogalusa, La. He had lived in the Transylvania area for four years. He was vice-president of Morning Treat Coffee Company. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Baton Rouge and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Edith Moore Hyde of Alsatia; a son, John Patrick Hyde of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Pauline Hughes of Baton Rouge, Cynthia Coleman of Central, La., and Darla Kay Johnson of Walker, La.; one brother, Seaborn Clayborn Hyde Jr. of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Dorothy Thomas of Bogalusa and Louise Byrd of Denham Springs, La.; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
