Hutto - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 9, 1971 John Hutto accident victim John W. Hutto, 24, of Tallulah, was killed at 2:30 a. m. Saturday in a one car accident near Mound. A passenger in a car driven by Howard Bolin, Hutto was struck by an approaching vehicle when he and Bolin were thrown from their car after failing to negotiate a curve. Bolin was taken to a Vicksburg hospital where he was reported in serious condition. Funeral services for Hutto were at 2:30 p. m. Monday at the Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. S T. Donaldson officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Hutto was a resident of Tallulah for many years and a member of the United Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hutto; four brothers; Jimmy, Gordon, Billy Wayne and Henry Wallace Hutto; one sister, Mrs. Tommy Anderson; his grandfather, John Hutto, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs John Owens, all of Tallulah. Pallbearers were Pete Hutto, Roy Lee Hutto, Linzy Hutto, Happy Day, J. W. Owens and Douglas Cummins.
