All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Edward Hutson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 1, 1978 Funeral services for Edward Hutson, 81, of Tallulah were held Thursday in the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Xxxall Sledge officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery for Mr. Hutson who died Tuesday morning in Franklin Parish Hospital in Winnsboro after a long illness. A native of Mendenhall, Miss., Mr. Hutson had resided in Tallulah for 47 years. He was an ice contractor for contractors in Tallulah before his death. Survivors include three sons, Doyle Hutson of New Roads, E. D. Hutson of Shreveport and Willard Hutson of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry Hansbrough of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Mary Reeves of Tallulah and Mrs. Eloise McManus of San Francisco, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Will Hattaway, Pete King, Bud Foster, Bunion Tarver, J. V. Panquin and Bill Loflin.
