Huckabay - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 27, 1994 Services for Mr. John W. Huckabay were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John Scarf officiating. Masonic graveside services followed at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Campground Cemetery in Bienville, La., with Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah in charge. Mr. Huckabay died Sunday, April 24, at ParkView Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg. He was 93. He was a native of Castor, La., and had lived in Tallulah for the past 55 years. He was a retired bookkeeper and Credit Union operator. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 308 and the Shreveport Shriners Temple. He is survived by his wife, Juanita J. Huckabay of Tallulah; one brother, T. C. Huckabay of Snyder, Okla,; two sisters, Ruth McTyre of Natchitoches, La., and Naomi Moore of Jennings, La.; three nieces and three nephews.
