Howell - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal AUGUST 21, 1936 OLLIE E. HOWELL Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist Church for Ollie E. Howell, local citizen who died Sunday at the Vicksburg Infirmary after an appendectomy. The Rev. Mr. Smith, of Gibbsland, of which Mr. Howell was a native, officiated, assisted by the Rev. C. Karlos Smith. Interment was in the Silver Cross cemetery. Pallbearers were Messrs. R. C. I.eeves, W. L. Rountree, R. O. Bales, H. A. Jackson, J. H. Jones, C. A. Thomas and Sam Robertson. Mr. Howell is survived by his wife, his father, Mr. E. E. Howell, marshal of Gibbsland, stepmother, Mrs. E. E. Howell, six sisters and one brother.
