Holt - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 8, 1995 Funeral services for Mrs. Mary M. Holt were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Lillard Bevelle officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation was held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Holt died Friday, Nov 3, 1995, in Metairie, La. She was 80. Mrs. Holt was born in Arkansas and had lived in Tallulah for 50 years. She was a housewife and a member of the United Methodist Church of Tallulah. She is survived by one son, Russell G. Holt of Metairie; four daughters, Bonnie King of Salinas, Calif., Bobbe Cox of Tallulah, Brenda Montgomery of Metairie, and Beverly Diaz of Metairie; two sisters, Joy Hargett of Gulf Shores, Ala., and Ruth Painter of Harahan, La.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers included Craig Cox, Russ Holt, Scott Holt, Mike Cox, Peter Diaz and Larry Cox.
