Funeral Services Held Sunday for A. S. Holloway

Funeral services for A. S. Holloway, 78, who died at the Madison Parish Hospital after a brief
illness were held Sunday.

He was a resident of Route One Delhi, and was a retired farmer.

Mr. Holloway had served for a number of years on the Police Jury and on the School Board of 
Madison Parish.

He is survived by three sons, Huels Holloway, Hawthorne, Fla. ; E. E. Holloway of Delhi, and 
Ronnie Holloway of Tallulah; five daughters, Mrs. W. R. Aldridge of Nederland, Texas; Mrs. 
Vivian Parker of West Monroe ; Mrs. E. F. Cagle of Lawton, Okla.; Mrs. Jessie DeSonier of 
Baton Rouge and Mrs. H. C. Youmans of Nederland; two brothers, M. O. Holloway and C. D. Holloway 
both of Delhi; three sisters, Mrs. George Taunter and Mrs. Barney Wallace of Delhi and Mrs. 
Herman Denton who resides in Mississippi; 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at First National Funeral Home in Delhi with burial following 
in the Crowville Cemetery.
