Holloway - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 21, 1966 Funeral Services Held Sunday for A. S. Holloway Funeral services for A. S. Holloway, 78, who died at the Madison Parish Hospital after a brief illness were held Sunday. He was a resident of Route One Delhi, and was a retired farmer. Mr. Holloway had served for a number of years on the Police Jury and on the School Board of Madison Parish. He is survived by three sons, Huels Holloway, Hawthorne, Fla. ; E. E. Holloway of Delhi, and Ronnie Holloway of Tallulah; five daughters, Mrs. W. R. Aldridge of Nederland, Texas; Mrs. Vivian Parker of West Monroe ; Mrs. E. F. Cagle of Lawton, Okla.; Mrs. Jessie DeSonier of Baton Rouge and Mrs. H. C. Youmans of Nederland; two brothers, M. O. Holloway and C. D. Holloway both of Delhi; three sisters, Mrs. George Taunter and Mrs. Barney Wallace of Delhi and Mrs. Herman Denton who resides in Mississippi; 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at First National Funeral Home in Delhi with burial following in the Crowville Cemetery.
