All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Jessie W Hoffman - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 6, 1993 Funeral services for Mr. Jessie W Hoffman, 75, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Hoffman died Friday at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. He was a native of Alabama and had lived in Tallulah for 45 years. He was a disabled sawmill worker and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Frances G. Hoffman of Tallulah; one son, James E. Hoffman of Tallulah; four daughters, Virginia L. Byrd of Gilbert, Bobbie Wooten and Edna Freeman, both of Tallulah and Claudette Johnson of Crowville; three half-brothers, Clayton Hoffman and Winston Hoffman, both of Dallas, Tex. and Joe Hoffman of Alabama; three sisters, Helen Mosley of Mobile, Ala., Ann Nell Miller of Needham, Ala. and Fanny Mae Hoffman of Meridian, Miss.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Harris, Larry Ghrigsby, Charlie Jester, Dennis Cassels, Thomas Cassels and Kenneth Cassels.
