Hodge - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 11, 1982 Services for E. J. Hodge, 63, were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel with Rev. David Lawrence officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Hodge died Friday at his residence after a short illness. He was a native of Union Parish and a resident of Tallulah for 54 years. He was a farmer and member of New Home Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Billy of Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Travis and Mrs. Mel Tucker, both of Monroe, and Mrs. Liz Patin of Lafayette; one brother, C. H. Hodge of Tallulah; five sisters, Mrs. Sally Glasmon of Miami, Mrs. Alma Prichard of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Julia Roberson of Walker, Mrs. Inez Sullivan of Crowville and Mrs. Mattie. Phillips of Marion; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were A. M. Raley, Billy Ray Hodge, Mike Travis, Bill Travis Sr., Bill Travis Jr., Mickie Tucker, Paul Patin and Donnie Patin.
