V. Hill Funeral Held Sunday P. M. Mrs. Onis Vera Hill, 54-year-old resident of Tallulah, died suddenly early Thursday morning, March 13th at Riley's Rest camp, Winnsboro, La. She had been a resident of Madison Parish the past 23 years. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, March 16th at Crothers Funeral Chapel at 2:30, with the Rev. Shirley Briggs, pastor of the Tallulah Baptist church, of which she was a member, officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Pallbearers were R. R. Cox, Albert Bedgood, Hammy Perion, E. H. Fussell, Arley Cox, Armond Cox. She is survived by two sons, Robert and A. B. Hill, Jr., both of Long Branch, N. J.; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Davis and Miss Mary Hill, of Tallulah; two brothers, Robert Dodd and Raymond Dodd, of Texarkana, Ark.; four sisters, Mrs. Katie Hill, Shreveport, La.; Mrs. Lucille Ball, Macon, Ga.; Mrs. J. H. Grady, Columbiana, Ala; Mrs. Adrian Underwood of Texarkana, Ark.
