All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ George Elvis Hill, Sr. Madison Parish, LA March 10, 1941 ~ March 3, 2020 (age 78) From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home March 5, 2020 Funeral services for George Elvis Hill, Sr., age 78, will be held Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, Louisiana with Bro. Jason Lupo officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah, Louisiana under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. George passed away at his home Tuesday, March 3, 2020 after a short illness surrounded by his loving family. George was born March 10, 1941 in Arkansas. He moved to Tallulah, Louisiana at age 16. He attended school at Tallulah High School. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. George married Jane May Hill, and they raised two sons, George Elvis Hill, Jr. and Jeffery Ted Hill. He worked as an auto body repair man for 46 years retiring from Richmond Automotive Body Shop in 2004. George loved his family, friends, and his dog, Muffie. He liked to hunt and loved to fish. George is survived by Jane Hill of Tallulah, Louisiana, two sons, George E. Hill, Jr. and wife, Angie of Terry, Mississippi and Ted Hill and wife, Dava of Tallulah, Louisiana, and five grandchildren, Kayla Hill, Will Hill, Ashlyn Bailey, Hayden Bailey, and Marlee Hill.
