Hicks, “Chris”, age 56, will be Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah with Bro. Jay Morgan officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Chris was preceded in death by her father, Claiborne Ashley and her step brother, Mike Melton. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Rusty Hicks, two sons, Russell Hicks and wife, Margaret, and Matthew Hicks and wife, Candi, grandchildren, Ryan Hicks, Hunter Landers, Logan Roland, Lukas Narron, Emma Hicks, Ayden Hicks and Carly Hicks, her mother, Eula Bell Melton, her pop, Mickey Melton, her sisters, Shirley Cleveland and husband, Tommy, Terri Ashley, and Kay Ashley, her step sister, Debra Mahoney and husband , Eddie, and step sister in law, Trudy Melton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas or a charity of your choice.
