All rights reserved. ************************************************ Freddie Helton - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post, January 9, 1990 TALLULAH - Funeral services for Freddie Helton will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan.10, 1990, at Tallulah First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah with Crothers Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Helton died Monday, Jan. 8, 1990, at Delta Haven Nursing Home In Tallulah. He was 64. He was a native and lifelong resident of Madison Parish. Mr. Helton was a farmer, a veteran of World War II, a Mason, a Shriner and a member of the American Legion Post 100, the Madison Parish Police Jury and the Tallulah First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty H. Helton of Tallulah, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bob Laird, James Morse, Rahda Hopkins, Ann Copes, Neal Gilly, Shorty Jackson, Charles Johnson and James "Jug" Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Lane Wilson, Lucian Roy, Bill Yerger Jr., Rufus Yerger Jr., Wallace Gay "Mac" McAlpin and Clay Crawford.
