Mr. Olga P. Hébert was stricken suddenly at his home in Tallulah last Sunday evening and was found dead by Mr. Albert Coltharp, who had left him just a short while before in apparent good health. Mr. Hébert was born in Iberville Parish, September 18, 1851, and was a member of a family prominent in the state's history. He graduated as a civil engineer from the Louisiana state University in 1873, and soon after took up his profession and Madison parish, where he has resided since. For many years he has been parish surveyor, the work of which office he has performed conscientiously and with satisfaction. He was buried Monday evening at the Tallulah Cemetery, Rev. Mr. Skipper officiating. His funeral was largely attended and floral offerings were profuse.
