Hebert - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 16, 1942 Alfred M. Hebert, 66, well-known local resident, died in a Shreveport hospital Tuesday night. He was stricken with paralysis a week ago. Mr. Hebert was born in this parish and spent his entire life here. He was a former plantation manager and bookkeeper, being employed for many years by the W. M. Scott interests. The funeral was held at the Williams Funeral chapel here, Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. Henry A. Rickey, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Interment followed in the Silver Cross cemetery. He leaves his wife, a son, Clyde Hebert in the United States navy, and a daughter, Mrs. William F. Powell, of Tallulah.
