All rights reserved. ************************************************ Willie “Jack” Haynes - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Lake Charles American Press June 23, 2002 Willie “Jack” Haynes, 65, died at 12:40 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2002, in his residence. He was a native of Tallulah and had lived in Lake Charles most of his life. He owned and operated Haynes Auto Repair. He was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, where he was a former male chorus member, a church deacon and member of the brotherhood. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Stevens Haynes of Lake Charles; one daughter, Phyllis Haynes of Lake Charles; one son, Malian Jake Darmon of Lake Charles; and two grandchildren. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 24, in Mount Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Elmore Garner will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King’s Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10 a.m. Monday in the church.
