All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Robert Berry Hasty - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Rockett Funeral Home, Ringold, LA October 10, 2014 Graveside services for Robert Berry Hasty, 73, of Minden, LA will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Castor, LA with Bro. David Daniels. Visitation will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 Saturday at Rockett Funeral Home, Ringgold, LA. Mr. Hasty was born January 7, 1941 in Tallulah, LA and passed away October 9, 2014. Mr. Hasty was a devoted member for 13 years of Minden Evening Lions Club. He was also a 20 year member of North Acres Baptist Church and willingly served in any capacity that he was called upon. As well as spending time at the Webster Parish Council on Aging, he did volunteer work for several years at Meadowview Health and Rehab Center in Minden. Some of his most enjoyable time was spent as a Greeter for Wal-Mart where he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Ruby Hasty; and one sister, Maxine Tiger. Mr. Hasty is survived by two brothers, James Carter Hasty and wife, Betty of Dubberly, LA and Roy Hasty and wife, Janice of Marietta, GA; three sisters, Jeanette Smith of Texarkana, AR, Barbara Hasty of Shreveport, LA and Patricia McCoy and husband, James of Stonewall, LA; a special devoted friend and companion, Mary Gray; and several nieces and nephews.
