Harvey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 29, 1997 Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Y. Harvey, age 76, of Baton Rouge, were held 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, in the First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Crystal Springs, Miss., under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Harvey died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1997, in the St. James Place Health Care Center in Baton Rouge after a lengthy illness. She was born in Hopewell. Miss., and had lived in Madison Parish for 50 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include one son, Bruce S. Harvey of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; one daughter, Linda Harvey Williams of Baton Rouge; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Joe Avery, Larry Ezell, John Hoffman, Warren Hopkins, Stan Taylor and Gerald Collins. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah was in charge of arrangements.
