Noland Harvey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 4, 1956 J. Noland Harvey Dies Saturday After Short Illness A former Tallulah resident, J. Noland Harvey, 54, died in a Monroe hospital after a short illness Saturday morning. He was a heavy equipment dealer in Monroe. Funeral services for Mr. Harvey was held at the Grace Episcopal Church in Monroe, with Rev. John M. Allin and Rev. James E. Marshall officiating. Burial followed in the Riverview Cemetery. Mr. Harvey is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Gish Harvey of Monroe, and two sons, Joseph Noland Harvey,II attending LSU in Baton Rouge, and Paul Gish Harvey of Monroe and one sister, Mrs. M. S. McCaffrey of New Orleans. Mr. Harvey was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and was associated with Caterpillar Tractor Company for 25 years, 15 of them in Baton Rouge before going to Monroe. Pallbearers were M. J. Carbone, Rayford Walton, A. F. Canizaro all of Monroe; E. B. Stribling of Greenwood; W. Z. Adams of Tallulah, and Julius Curren of Baton Rouge.
