HARVEY BURIED TALLULAH, La., Sept. 3-Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Noland Harvey, 86, well known and highly esteemed resident of Tallulah who died at her home here Wednesday night were held from the Catholic church here yesterday afternoon with the Rev. John C. Vandegear officiating. Interment was in Silver Cross cemetery here. Mrs Harvey was born at Milliken's Bend, and spent her entire life in Madison parish having resided in Tallulah for many years. She was a widow of the late W. H. Harvey who served as clerk of court here for a number of years. She was one of the charter members of the Catholic church here. Mrs. Harvey is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Leo Shields, of Alsatia, Mrs. Fred Johnson, of Shreveport and Mrs. Erwin Book, of New Orleans, two sons, J. N. Harvey, clerk of court here and W. H. Harvey, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren, a brother, Emelius Noland, of East Carroll parish and a sister, Miss Ida Noland of Lake Providence. Pall bearers were J. N. Harvey, Jr., of Baton Rouge, Fred V. Johnson and A. R. Conly, of Shreveport, Leo Shields, of Alsatia and Will Z. Adams and Will Harvey. Jr. From Madison Journal September 3, 1937 Funeral Rites or Mrs. Agnes Harvey Thursday Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Noland Harvey, 86, one of the oldest and most highly esteemed residents of Tallulah, were held yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Catholic Church here. Interment was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Harvey died at her home here Wednesday night after a brief illness. She was a native of and spent her life in Madison parish, and was the widow of the late W. H. Harvey, for many years Clerk of Court of this parish. She was an active member of the Catholic Church. Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Leo Shields, Alsatia, Mrs. Fred Johnson, Shreveport, and Mrs. Edwin Cook, New Orleans; two sons, J. N. Harvey, Clerk of. Court here, and W. H. Harvey, Tallulah; ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Emelius Noland, of East Carroll parish, and a sister, Miss Ida Noland, of Lake Providence. Mrs. Harvey's passing will be mourned by her many friends here.
