Harrop - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 6, 1967 Funeral Services Held On Tuesday For A. H. Harrop Funeral services for A. H. Harrop, 67 were held Tuesday at 10 a. m. at the Tallulah Methodist Church with the Rev. Clark Bell officiating. Burial followed in Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Old Southern Mortuary of Tallulah. Masonic Services were held at grave side. He died in Madison Parish Hospital Sunday night following a stroke which he suffered around noon Sunday. Mr. Harrop was a native of Galveston, Texas; a member of the Methodist Church; a mason, and had been a resident of Tallulah for 37 years. He was in the plumbing business. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillian Harrop, Tallulah; one son, Dr. Robert Harrop, Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Fred Helton, Tallulah; one sister, Mrs. Edgar Luper, Austin, Texas; two grandchildren. Pallbearers were George Speed, William Givins, Fred Massey, C. H. Causey, Marion Smith, Everett Edwards, Robert Harvey and J. C. Dykes. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. George Webb, Dr. H. S. Provine, Hook Prewitt, Burney Westmoreland, Floyd Humble, Bert Williams, William Yerger, Andrew Yerger, Rufus Yerger, Edward Yerger, Maxwell Yerger, Ralph Bloom, C. Ramagos, A. V. Nelson, Manfred Gus-tafson, Walter Butler, and R. E. Fowler.
