All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** William Harris - Madison Parish, Louisiana From The Vicksburg Post November 3, 2013 TALLULAH, La. —Funeral services for William Harris were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Perry officiating. Visitation was from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. and burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Harris died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg after a lengthy illness. He was born in Philadelphia, Miss. and lived in Tallulah since 1969. He was a service technician and was the owner of Bill Harris and Sons. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Harris of Tallulah; sons William Jordan Harris and Jerry Harris, both of Tallulah, Allen B. Harris of Garfield, Ark., and William G. Pate of Delhi, La.; two brothers, Bobby Harris of Kaufman, Texas and Granville Harris, of Tallulah; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ronnie McClain, Jimmy Lopez, Cal Trichell, Matt Gregory, Ricky Lee and Johnny Reece.
