All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Rupert Harmon - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 21, 1986 Services for Rupert Harmon, 87, were at 4 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. He was a native of Kentucky and had lived in Madison Parish for 57 years. He was also a farmer and member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Faye Watts Harmon of Tallulah; three sons, Stanley Harmon and Charles "B. B." Harmon Jr., both of Tallulah, and Lloyd Gaines Harmon of New Orleans; two brothers, Maurice Harmon of Perryville, Ky., and Prather Harmon of Junction City, Ky.; one sister, Lena Joiner of Danville, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert "Shorty" Jackson, Bill Yerger, Bob Craft, Freddy Helton, Ira Hugh Ervin and A. L. Harvey.
