All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Kate Hargon - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 21, 1947 Mrs. Kate Hargon, 72, died on Wednesday, February 12, at three o'clock in the afternoon at Mercy hospital, Vicksburg. Miss. She has made her home the past few years with her son, P. F. Hargon, on his plantation south of town. Services were held Friday morning at ten o'clock at St. Agnes Catholic Church; Sulphur Springs, Miss. Father Lawrence officiated at the burial services. Mrs. Hargon lived most of her life in Madison County, Miss., near Camden. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. J. S. White, Tallulah, and Mrs. C. O. Knight, of Madison Station, Miss.; four sons, P. F. Hargon, of Tallulah, I. T. Hargon and H. G. Hargon, of Canton, Miss., H. A. Hargon of Camden, Miss., and E. L. Hargon, of the U. S. Army, stationed in Washington, D. C., and a number of grandchildren.
