Hankins - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star July 17, 1976 TALLULAH — Funeral services for N. G. Hankins, 68, of Tallulah, were to be at 4 p.m. today at the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home here with the Rev. S. T. Donaldson officiating. Burial was to be in Silver Cross Cemetery here. Mr. Hankins died Tuesday at his daughter's residence at Schriever after a brief illness. He was a native of Pine Bluff, Ark. and a resident of Tallulah for 34 years. He was a commercial fisherman. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Annie Hankins of Tallulah; his father, Dan Hankins of Monroe; three stepsons, C. B. Thompson of Tallulah, George Davis of San Suanna, Calif., J. R. Davis of Arlington, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Buddy Welch of Schriever; one step-daughter, Mrs. Jean McBride of Paradise, Tex.; two brothers, John Hankins of Lake Providence and Z. L. Hankins of San Antonio, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Sybil Snell of Daisy, Ark., and Mrs. Mildred White of Monroe and Mrs. Ellie Holloway of Shreveport; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were to be Allan Hale, Odell Hale, Albert Harris, George McNeese, Harry Dale McNeese, Doyle Lott.
