All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Robert Lee Hancock - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 5, 1968 Robert Hancock Dies Sunday At Age 87 Robert Lee Hancock, died in Delta Haven Nursing Home here Sunday night after a long illness. Funeral services were held at p. m. Tuesday at the Old Southern Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Gardens. He was a native of Gloster, Miss., had lived in Tallulah for the past 20 years and was a member of the Montrose Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Thomas C. Hancock of Tallulah and Hilton Hancock of Portsmouth, Va., a daughter Mrs. Connie Cooper of Los Angeles, California; two brothers, H. M. Hancock of McComb, Miss., and R. V. Hancock of Arcadia; two sisters, Mrs. Lonea Miller of Darnell and Mrs. Elizabeth Huff of Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers were J. E. Adams, W. H. Harvey, A. L. Harvey, J. C. Byram, Carley Williamson and Gerald Collins.
