Services were conducted in the chapel of Kidder Cox Funeral Home in Lake Providence with Minister Bill Smith officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery of Tallulah. Mr. Hammack died Monday (November 5) at his residence after a short illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carmel Hammack of Lake Providence. a son George Delos Hammack of Lake Providence; a daughter Mrs. Alice Gentry of Harrison, Ark.: two brothers, William Hammack of Woodville, Miss. And Louis Hammack of Seattle, Wash: two sisters, Mrs. Maude Tyler of Kentucky and Miss Christine Hammack of Ellisville, Miss.: two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bud Jeter, Roy Lee Wortham, Billy Herrington, John Hopkins, Ronald Anglin and Gary Don Graham.
