H. Hale Funeral services for William Horace Hale, 70, who died at his home early Monday, were conducted at 4 P. M. Wednesday at the Methodist Church, with the Revs. Clark Bell and John Hurt officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. He was a retired dairyman, Member of the Tallulah Methodist Church, World War I veteran and member of the American Legion. Survivors are his widow; a son, Cap. W. H. Hale, Brunswick, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard Kennedy. Lake Providence and Miss Ruth Hale, Ft. Worth, Texas; three step-children, Mrs. Allen Wright, Abilene, Texas, Mrs. Walter Logan, Dallas, Texas; James Horne, Dallas, Texas; a brother, Jack Hale, Marshall, Texas; a sister, Mrs. C. E. Spann, Pine Bluff, Ark.; 10 grandchildren. Active pallbearers were David C Harvey, P. F. Hargon, Purvis Copes, Everette Edwards, Bobby Joe Lee, W. P. Cagnolatti and R. N. Graves. Honorary pallbearers were J. C. Sherwin, Charlie Arneson, Dr. H. S. Provine, L. W. Haavey, J. W. Moore and J. E. Furr.
