Guyton, Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 24, 1996 A memorial service for Mr. James H. Guyton, Sr., age 49, of Tallulah was held Saturday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Pastor Khurman Cox and Bro. Grant Whistler officiating. Mr. Guyton died Thursday, April 18th at his residence in Tallulah after a lengthy illness. He was born in Delhi and was a college graduate. Mr. Guyton had lived in Tallulah for 20 years and was a farmer and a millwright. He was preceded in death by his brother Glen Guyton. Survivors include one son James H. Guyton Jr., of Tallulah, La., One daughter, Stephanie Guyton of Tallulah, two brothers, Bill Guyton and Sterling Guyton, Jr., both of Monroe and one sister, Mary Ann Greco of Monroe. Any memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
