Gunn Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 2, 1970 Brother of resident dies in Monroe Jesse E. Gunn Sr., 62, of 1705 South 6th St., Monroe, suffered an apparent heart attack Saturday and was dead on arrival at St. Francis Hospital. The funeral was held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Mulhearn Funeral Home. Graveside services were held in Silver Cross Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. in Tallulah. Mr. Gunn, a native of Winnsboro, has been a resident of Monroe for the past ten years. He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow Mrs. Verna Gunn. Monroe; a son, Jesse Gunn Jr., Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Gartmen, and Mrs. Elaine Carison, both of Waco, Tex; three brothers, H. L. Gunn, West Monroe; Lee Gunn, and M. O. Gunn, both of Tallulah.
