All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Barbara Ann Todd Guinn, Madison Parish, Louisiana From Casa Grande Dispatch Casa Grande, Arizona February 1961 24 Mar 1928 - 6 Feb 1961 Services were held Wednesday morning at St. Peter's Episcopal Church for Mrs. Charles (Barbara Ann) Guinn, who died Monday afternoon in Hoemako Hospital. Mrs. Guinn had been bedridden since last November. A native of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Mrs. Guinn was born March 24, 1928. She was graduated in 1949 from the University of Arizona, where she was affiliated with the Pi Beta Phi sorority. In November of 1949 she and her husband, Charles, were married in Tallulah, La., at the home of her parents, the Colvin Todds. Residing in Casa Grande until 1952, the Guinns then moved to Tallulah, returning to Casa Grande in 1959. Prior to her illness Mrs. Guinn served briefly as the Casa Grande reporter for the Tucson Star. Surviving, in addition to her husband, include her children, Caroline Ann, Barbara Banks, Debra and Colvin Todd, aged from 10 to 3 years; her mother, Mrs. Lucille Todd, and her brother, Hobert C. Todd, both of Tallulah; and her grandfather, Frank Bodkin, of Bastrop, La. Her mother has been in Casa Grande for several months at her daughter's bedside. Rev. William Landless Shannon, pastor of St. Peter's, officiated at the services. Mrs. Roland Curry was the organist. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery. The family requested that donations be made to the memorial fund of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in place of flowers. Mrs. Guinn was a member of the church.
