All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Margaret Webb Guerriero - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 3, 1999 Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Webb Guerriero, age 75, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Christ Episcopal Church in Vicksburg, Miss., with the Rev. Clifton McInnis officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Guerriero died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999 in the Parkview Medical Center in Vicksburg. A native of Vicksburg, Mrs. Guerriero was the daughter of the late George Washington and Ethel Evans Webb. She grew up on Dalkieth Plantation in Madison Parish. Mrs. Guerriero was a graduate of Stevens College in Missouri and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she studied dietetics. She served her internship at the University of Kansas and began her career at Street Sanitarium in Vicksburg, where she was the first registered dietician in the city. She was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church, where she served as state president of the Alter Guild Association, and past president of the Hester Flower Garden Club and Vicksburg Junior Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dr. George Webb. Survivors include her husband, Dr. James P. Guerriero of Vicksburg: and three nieces, Dianne Webb Miller of Monroe and Peggy Webb Smith and Patricia Webb Robinson, both of New Roads, La. Pallbearers were Raymond May, Dr. Eugene Ferris, Grey Ferris, Troy Lindsey, Howell Jones, Landman Teller, William Moore Sr. and Jerry Derivaux. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Randy Easterling, Dr. Briggs Hopson, Dr. Steven Zachow, William McGehee, Charles Riles, Dr. Lee Volters, Dr. Martin Newcomb, Gerald Easley and Robert Ehrhardt. Memorials may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 115 Main Street, Vicksburg, Miss. 39180 or the American Cancer Society, Miss. Division, at 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson. Miss. 39213. Fisher-Riles Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
