All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ August Gremshel - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 2, 1988 Funeral services for Mr. August Gremshel, 73, were at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Father Terry Allen officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Gremshel died Monday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson after a long illness. He was a native of Bolton, Ms. and a resident of Madison Parish for 38 years. He was a retired service station manager, a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosa Gremshel of Tallulah; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy King of Lake Providence and Mrs. Ethel Nettles of Jackson. Pallbearers were Edgar Lancaster, B. B. Harmon, Vaun Little, Jeffrey Little, Johnny Gremshel and Hubert McCain.
