Gregory - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg (MS) Evening Post February 9, 1948 GREGORY RITES THIS AFTERNOON AT TALLULAH, LA. TALLULAH, La., Feb. 19 — Funeral services for William P. Gregory, 64, will be held at the Tallulah Baptist Church this afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Shirley Briggs officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Cross Cemetery, with Crothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Gregory died In Vicksburg early Friday following a brief illness. He had lived in Tallulah for the past 19 years, and was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Medlin Gregory of Tallulah; four brothers, A. J. Gregory of Bay Springs; C. P. Gregory of Jackson; F. R. Gregory of Louin, Miss., and Dr. J. E. Gregory of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. A. J. Montgomery of Louin and Mrs. G. W. Downs of Bay Springs. Pallbearers will be J. E. Furr, C. E. Goss, J. C. Hutchings, R. L. Martin, W. C. Workman, Roy Erwin, A. L. Wise and E. H. Stewart.
