All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Georgia Edith Green - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 26, 1965 Funeral Services For Mrs. Green Held Saturday Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Edith Green, 75, who died last Friday in the Madison Parish Hospital following a short illness were held Saturday at 2 P. M. Services were conducted at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Hurt and Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Burial followed in Garden of Memory Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A native of Hattiesburg, Miss., Mrs. Green had been a resident of Madison Parish for the past 28 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include her husband, Grady K. Green, two sons, Muriel W. Green of Tallulah and Delma K. Green of Ogden, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. A. A. Gunnell of Layton, Utah, and Mrs. J. A. Godfrey of Tallulah; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother, Willie Harper of Castor; and one sister, Mrs. R. W. Cook, Castor. Pallbearers were Everett L. Ed-wards, Alcus Maxwell, Wayne Neuroth, Charlie Allen, Rupert Russell and the Rev. Mayfield.
