GOZA DIES H. M. Goza, 72, died at his home in Delhi, Tuesday evening, October 7, after a long illness. Mr. Goza will be remembered by a number of friends who knew him the two years he lived in Tallulah. He came here from Leflore County, Mississippi. He went to Delhi from here, where he spent the remainder of his life. Mr. Goza was born and reared in Carroll County, Mississippi; he was a very devout Christian, having been reared in a very religious home. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and always identified himself with the church wherever he went. He was buried in Delhi with Rev. Spinks of Delhi, Rev. W. H. Giles of Tallulah, and Rev. John Booth of Winnsboro, an old boyhood friend, officiating. Surviving him are: Mrs. H. M. Goza, his wife; one daughter, Mrs. W. T. Windham of Delhi; four grandchildren, Mrs. Frank Quihn and Clytre Hammett, of Belzoni, Miss., Jim Mae Hammett, Jackson, Miss., Katheryn Windham, Delhi; and one brother, T. H. Goza of Tallulah.
