All rights reserved. ************************************************ Barbara Ann Melton Gourley - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, July 9, 2004 Barbara Ann Melton Gourley died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at her home. She was 58. Mrs. Gourley was born in Tallulah to Robert Lee Melton Sr. and Corina Pearl Pearcy Melton. A graduate of Tallulah High School, she was a hairstylist. She was a former secretary at Industrial Electric of Vicksburg and Electrical Equipment of Greensboro, N.C. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Gourley of Vicksburg; four brothers, Robert Melton of Jonesville, La., M.L. Melton of Farmerville, La., Mickey Melton of Tallulah and Leonard Melton of Corvallis, Ore.; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Riles Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
