Goss - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 7, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys D. Goss, 83, of Carthage, Tex. were held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Mason officiating. Services were under direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Goss died Dec. 2 at Panola General Hospital in Carthage. Mrs. Goss was a retired supervisor for BellSouth in Tallulah. She had returned to live in Carthage in 1978 and was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jane G. Rice of Houston; one brother, Mr. Douglas Denton of Carthage; two sisters, Gertie Collins of Carthage and Bert Shannon of Beaumont; and one granddaughter.
