Goss - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 14, 1965 Funeral Services For A. L. Goss Held Saturday Funeral services for Austin L. Goss, 64, who died unexpectedly at his home last Thursday after a heart attack, were held Saturday morning at 10:00 a. m. Services were conducted at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Hurt officiating. Burial followed in the Garden of Memory Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A native of Lillie, Mr. Goss had for the past 30 years been a resident of Tallulah where he was employed by United Gas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Spike Hunting Club. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gladys Goss; one daughter, Mrs. Lorie S. Rice of Houston, Texas; three brothers, C. E. Goss of Tallulah, Wesley Goss of West Memphis, Ark., and Harold Goss of Transylvania; one sister, Mrs. Sue Goss of St. Louis, Mo. and one granddaughter. Pallbearers were Ben Scruggs, Jack Bethea, H. N. Naff, W. F. Letlow, Ronnie Ratcliff, James Straud, Lenelle Bradley and W. W. Lolley.
