All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Carmen Cadena Godina - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Fort Worth Star-Telegram December 12, 2007 Carmen Cadena Godina, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, of natural causes in North Richland Hills (Texas.) Service: 1 p.m. Thursday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Interment: 1 p.m. Saturday in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, La. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Carmen was born Feb. 24, 1934, in Maxwell to Maria and Jesus Cadena. She moved to Saginaw, Mich., in 1947. She was married to Clemente Godina for 38 years until he passed in 2002 in Monroe, La. She then moved to Texas to live with her daughter. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Rest in peace. Survivors: Her sons, Jerardo Godina of Houston, Alberto Godina of Shreveport, La., and Clem Godina of Monroe, La.; her daughters, Lisa Godina of Watauga and Debra Guilbert and her husband, Mark Guilbert, of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Daniel, Steven and Amanda Guilbert; brothers, Patricio Cadena, Jesus Cadena, Manuel Cadena and Juan Cadena; and sisters, Catarina Zamora, Guadalupe Reyna and Anita Lopez and their families.
