All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Mildred Green Godfrey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 15, 2000 Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Green Godfrey, age 82, of Tallulah, were held Wednesday, March 15, 2000, in the First Baptist Church of Tallulah with Reverends John Rushing and Dan St. Andre officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Godfrey died at her residence in Tallulah, Friday, March 10, 2000. She was born in Arcadia, La., and had lived in Tallulah for 45 years. She was a retired employee of the Madison Parish School System and was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Godfrey and her daughter, Carolyn Jean Wallace. Survivors include: one son, David Allan Godfrey and daughter-in-law, Gayle of Monroe, I.a.; one brother: Muriel Woodson Green, Tallulah, La. One sister: Eva Marie Gunnell, Ogden, Utah; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
