All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** James Jefferson Goar - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 18, 1945 Stanwood Alnut, Former Resident, Dies Saturday Jefferson Goar Passes Away Here Last Monday Night Funeral services for James Jefferson Goar, 65 year-old farmer of the Blue Front community, were held at the Baptist church here Thursday. He died at his home Monday night after a long illness. The Rev. Clarence Crow officiated and burial followed in Silver Cross cemetery. Mr. Goar, who formerly lived in Minnesota, had resided in Madison parish for the past 15 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Agnes Goar; a daughter, Mrs. Klueger, a member of the Woman's Army Corp, stationed at Lake Charles; a son, Donald, three brothers, L. E. Goar of Minneapolis, Walter Goar of Minnesota and Elmer Goar of Minnesota.
