Girod - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 9, 1982 Services for Mary M. Girod, 69, were held at 10 a.m. in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Sunflower Cemetery in Bastrop. Mrs. Girod died Saturday in a Nursing Home in Xxxxx after a long illness. She was a native of Arkansas, a Tallulah resident for 35 years, a housewife and member of Tallulah First Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Collins of Slidell. Pallbearers were Don Butler, Dusty Butler, Gene Butler, Dennis Grissom, Dale Jones, Bailey Rogers and Howard Ziegler.
