September 28, 1931 - November 26, 2017

 

Funeral services for Roberta Gilmore will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at McClendon Baptist Church West Monroe. Dr. Kevin Stewart and Rev. Grant Bamburg will officiate. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

 

Roberta was born September 28, 1931 in Sondheimer, LA and passed away November 26, 2017 in West Monroe. She was a member of McClendon Baptist Church and worked at E.A. Conway thirty-plus years. Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Carter L. “Pud” Gilmore and parents, Bert Brooks and Mary Taylor; son-in-law Charles Bamburg.

 

Roberta is survived by her daughters, Diane Littleton and husband Gary, Naomi Bamburg; grandchildren, Bill Littleton and wife Brenda, Misti Westbrook and husband Mike, Jessica Sharp and husband Anthony, Jason Littleton, Blake Bamburg and wife Heather, Kyle Bamburg and wife Caitlyn, Grant Bamburg and wife Lyndsey, Chase Bamburg and wife Taylor; sisters, Jerry Cloyd, Judy Barfield and husband Ron; brother, Vernon Brooks; 16 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; brother-in-law, J.T. Gilmore and wife Mae; sister-in-law Mary Martin; special “sisters” Florence Lee and Janice Albritton; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
