All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Marjory Gilmer - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Madison Journal October 25, 1935 MARJORY GILMER Miss Marjory Gilmer died on Saturday evening, October 19 at the Infirmary of Smith's College, Northhamption, Mass. She had been stricken with streptococci infection only a few days and received immediate medical attention but due to a heart disease, could not survive the attack. Her bereaved parents, Dr. and Mrs. H. R. Gilmer, left Friday for Northampton and accompanied the body to Tiffin, Ohio were interment took place. Miss Gilmer attended Tallulah High School, where she was always an outstanding pupil during 1931 and 32. She attended Heidelberg College for two years and for her scholastic honors there won the scholarship to Smith College, which she was attending for her first year. Besides her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Gilmer, she is survived by a brother, Robert, and as sister, Joan.
