GILFOIL HELD AT TALLULAH TALLULAH, La., June 3 - Funeral services for Mrs. J. H. Gilfoil, aged 88 years, prominent Madison parish resident, who died at her home in Omega, La., Friday afternoon, following a long illness, were conducted here this morning at 11 o'clock. Services were held at the St. Agnes Catholic Church, with Rev. Father John C. Vandegaer, celebrant of a requiem mass. Interment was in the Silver Cross cemetery. Mrs. Gilfoil was well known throughout Madison parish where she numbered her friends by the score. Deceased is survived by two sons, William R. Gilfoil of Omega and James H. Gilfoil of Lake Providence; one daughter, Sister Scholastica of Vicksburg, a member of the order of the Sisters of Mercy; a sister, Miss Annie Currie, of Omega, and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
